Every Step for Kindlewood
Follow Danny McKenzie's inspiring 11 week marathon journey as he raises funds for Kindlewood, helping build a future where no one faces life's final chapter alone.
Kindle Club
A space where stories are shared, hearts are heard, and comfort is found in companionship.
Join us for open conversations about life and loss, all over a warm cuppa.
This group meets monthly and is guests to the group attract a cuppa and cake offer - a huge thanks to Jamaica Blue Yanchep for this warm welcome.
Kindlewood Brand Launch Sundowner
Celebrate the launch of Kindlewood with us at our Brand Launch Sundowner. This special evening will bring together local businesses, services and community leaders who believe in the power of community care. Hear the story behind Kindlewood, learn about the vision to build a community hospice, and explore how your organisation can help guide families toward support when they need it most.
A Cuppa, A Chat & A Little Connection 🧡
Come and take a pew with us.
The kettle will be on at The Second Chapter for our community Morning Tea.
These mornings are about making a little more room for connection. Come in for a cuppa and something to eat, meet our wonderful Kindlers, learn a little more about Kindlewood and discover some of the local organisations doing good things in our community.
There doesn't need to be a reason for coming. You might be curious about what we're creating, interested in volunteering, want to learn more about the organisations we support, or simply fancy a cuppa and a chat.
Stay for ten minutes or stay for the whole morning. Everyone is welcome.
Saturday 29 August | 11am to 1pm
The Second Chapter, Two Rocks Shopping Village
Registration is free and simply helps us know how many cups to put out and how much morning tea to prepare.
And while you're here, it will be your last Saturday chance to grab a $2 ticket in our fortnightly raffle, before the winner is drawn on Sunday 30 August.
Come as you are.
The kettle's on. There's a seat for you.

Dying to Know Day 2026: The Secret I'm Glad I Shared
Dying to Know Day 2026
The Secret I'm Glad I Shared
Join Kindlewood for an evening of meaningful conversation, creativity and community as we mark Dying to Know Day 2026.
This year's theme, The Secret I'm Glad I Shared, invites us to explore the conversations that are often the hardest to have, yet can bring the greatest comfort, connection and peace when they are shared.
Throughout the evening you'll be introduced to After Now, Kindlewood's developing programme designed to help individuals and families prepare for the continuity of life through practical planning and meaningful conversations. You'll also hear from a panel of local professionals as they discuss end of life choices, including death doula care, body donation to medical science and other after death options.
The evening concludes with a creative legacy activity facilitated by Laura from AQUAkre-artz, providing an opportunity to reflect on the stories, wishes and memories that matter most.
Whether you're planning ahead, supporting someone you love, or simply curious to learn more, you'll leave feeling more informed, more connected and more confident to have the conversations that matter.
Your ticket includes refreshments and light catering.
Together, let's make talking about life's final chapter a little easier.
Any proceeds from this event will support Kindlewood's work to build compassionate communities and improve end of life awareness and support across Perth's northern suburbs.
